Khris' Corner (cont.)
The feature stories from this month's print version are also available on the website. Drinking Well is a serious look at our region's water supplies, where we get our water and what people are doing to find the freshest and best water. Eat, Drink, Be Local is a story about the trend to only consume foods produced locally. From organic wine to community-supported agriculture to locally baked bread and desserts, our region sees the importance of buying local. It's a direct investment in our communities. We've got an article about the Onondaga Nation School and a soundslide about a Liverpool man who has spent much of his life collecting junk, and making it into a unique habitat for birds and other wildlife. In the future, there will also be an archive of past articles online, giving you the best of both worlds.
There is so much for us to write about, and so much for you to read. But, above all, there is so much here to do, so much to be a part of. After all, it is our community and our environment.
